Mr. Timm is CEO of WorldCare Clinical, joining the company in November 2014. Prior to joining WCC, Mr. Timm served as Chief Executive Officer of Synarc, an imaging CRO. Mr. Timm joined Synarc as General Counsel in 2005 and served as CEO from 2010 until 2014. Earlier in his career, Mr. Timm worked as General Counsel of Vitria Technology, then a publicly-traded software company. Mr. Timm began his career practicing law with Orrick, Herrington, & Sutcliffe LLP in San Francisco. Mr. Timm graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University and with honors from Harvard Law School.
Dr. Walovitch is President of WCC, which he joined as Chief Medical Officer in January 2009. Prior to joining WCC, he served as the Senior Vice President of clinical research at Acusphere, Inc., Vice President of Preclinical and Clinical Research at Epix Medical, and held various positions as Research Pharmacologist and Project Clinician in the Imaging Agent Group at the DuPont Merck Pharmaceutical Company. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute on Drug Abuse’s Addiction Research Center in the Neurochemistry section. Dr. Walovitch has a Doctorate in Pharmacology from the University of Illinois Medical Center and a Bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Illinois. He is an author of more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, mostly in the field of medical imaging.
Thomas P. O’Donnell is Executive Vice President and a Managing Partner of ProScan Imaging. He is responsible for developing and managing global transformational business growth opportunities within the ProScan family of businesses. Mr. O’Donnell is also Executive Vice President of Business Development, Board Member and Managing Partner of WCC, which is part of the ProScan family. Prior to joining ProScan, he was Vice President of Global Late Phase Business Development at Quintiles and was responsible for building EU and Asian Late Phase Sales Teams resulting in significant business growth. Mr. O’Donnell was Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Kendle International, Inc. and was responsible for the development/expansion of preferred provider and strategic alliance relationships with major biopharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Klaus Noever joined WorldCare Clinical from BioClinica where he had been for more than 15 years and served as VP of Business Development and Medical Director in Europe. Dr. Noever obtained his MD from University of Erlangen and worked as a physician at the University hospitals of Bochum (radiology) and Erlangen (cardiology) in Germany. Dr. Klaus Noever has extensive experience with medical imaging having served as a medical imaging consultant for clinical drug development across a range of therapeutic areas including oncology, skeletal diseases, CNS and cardiovascular diseases. Prior to joining BioClinica, Dr. Noever has held positions in clinical R&D at Schwarz Pharma, Boehringer Ingelheim and Siemens Medical Systems.
Andrea Falkoff oversees the Operations group and all clinical programs at WCC. She has over 10 years of experience in the clinical research industry managing imaging trials for Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Device companies. Andrea has a proven track record of ensuring high quality, on time service delivery to clients. Before joining WCC, Andrea was Vice President of Imaging Operations at Intrinsic Imaging. Andrea also earned her Master’s in Business Administration from Boston University, with a concentration in Leadership and Organizational Transformation.
Mr. Jarry is the Senior Controller of WCC, where he directs the company’s financial policy while also being an active participant in, and driver of, the organization’s overall strategy. He leads all financial administration, business planning and budgeting. He has more than 12 years of experience in financial management including more than 10 years in the industry. Prior to joining WCC, he managed the accounting department for Ascent Technology. In addition, he has previously worked on several consulting projects assisting companies with financial operations and tax preparation. Mr. Jarry is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Bryant University, and Master's degrees in business administration and taxation from Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business.
Dr. Pomeranz is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Medical Director of Proscan Imaging, Inc. and ProScan MRI Education Foundation. In addition, he is Medical Director of WorldCare Clinical, LLC, a consultant to numerous medical and imaging institutions, and the author of several acclaimed medical imaging texts.
Dr. Boland is Director of Teleradiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Associate Professor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School. His areas of specialty include PACS, teleradiology, voice recognition, RIS, and the enterprise digital solution to PACS and RIS integration.
Mr. Brunner retired from Procter & Gamble after 40 years of service, including Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Research and Development. A member of P&G’s Board of Directors, he supervised the evolution of its major pharmaceutical and global over-the-counter medicine businesses.
Dr. Fang is Assistant Clinical Professor of medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He lectures extensively on antibiotics and analgesics. Dr. Fang also holds a Ph.D in physiology and biophysics.
Dr. Gelfand is Senior Advisor on International Medical Affairs with the Partners Healthcare System, and Director of the International Program of the Center for the Integration of Medicine and Innovative Technology. He is an attending physician at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Hochberg is an instructor at the Department of Clinical Medicine at Harvard Medical School, the Division of Hematology / Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Dr. Hochberg is a specialist in neuro-oncology at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is co-principal investigator of the NCI Consortium, New Approaches in Brain Tumor Therapy. His expertise is in the diagnosis and treatment of tumors of the nervous system and the provision of experimental therapies.
Dr. Sharif is WCC’s former Chief Executive Officer, is Co-founder, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Operating Officer of WorldCare International. He is a consultant to the Department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and a visiting Associate Professor at the Harvard Medical School.
